www.edocr.com provides a document interactivity platform for businesses both small and large. The first version (public alpha) of the product has been operational since Sept 2007. We are now in the process of raising our first round of external funding, and seek an exceptional individual to take responsibility for the product development, product delivery and product management. The Chief Product Officer (CPO) is expected to work closely with the CEO and the Board ensuring successful execution of the 5-year strategic plan.

You must be a self-starter and have experience of delivering web applications for the enterprise. Experience of building software development teams is mandatory. You must have experience of dealing at C-level of both medium and large businesses. Whilst you do not need to have startup experience, you must be prepared to work without any support structure.

Initially, the key role of the CPO is to ensure scalability and robustness of the product, which s/he is expected to achieve through hands-on involvement (i.e. coding) with the support of a small team of individuals. Therefore you ought to be conversant with python, php and Drupal framework. Understanding of Amazon AWS and Sun Microsystems stack is preferred.
