Tech Track 100 - League table and research
The seventh annual Tech Track 100 league table was published in The Sunday Times on 30 September 2007, with title sponsor Microsoft, and main sponsor PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Tech Track 100 ranks Britain's fastest-growing private tech companies based on sales growth over the latest two years, from 2004 to 2006, or 2005 to 2007. Growth ranged from 52% pa to 514% pa, with sales typically between £3m and £25m. Companies on the league table have developed a diverse range of products and services, including synthetic bone graft material (ApaTech, No 13) and the e-commerce software behind the De Beers website (Venda, No 66).
Tech Track 100 is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each September, with an awards event in November.
Thebestof.co.uk - "invested a six figure sum to buy Google search technology for their website" - what on earth have they bought? Sounds like a con job to me!
Congratualtions to them for getting a mention in the Sunday Times supplement - impressive achievement for a website that has little content and looks like a affiliate directory.
