In April 2006 median gross weekly
earnings were £447, up 3.7 per cent
from £431 in 2005, for full-time
employee jobs on adult rates whose
earnings were not affected by absence.
For men earnings were £487, up 3.5
per cent, compared with £387 for
women, up 4.2 per cent.
