Is the property boom in Dubai sustainable?

Over the last forty years, Dubai has changed significantly from a desert to one of the most exciting places to live and work in the world. Part of this growth was achieved due to infrastructure investment. But is this level of capital intensive activity sustainable?

Well, Dubai stratigically is being developed as a tourism driven economy and there is no doubt that Dubai has built some of the most marvalous architectures of our times and looking at the standard of living it offers, coupled with luxury, style & comfort...it has attracted a lot of European population to invest there, more like second homes or vacation homes or to some to the extent to live & work there.

For another few years to come, Dubai has great plans though now slowly the trend is that Dubai itself is offering about 8-10% return on investment in Real Estate, so it is being observed that Dubai based leading developers, like DAMAC, KM Holdings, Nakeel, Al Fara'a etc who have minted their money in the Dubai economy are now moving towards India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka for better returns and exploring new horizons...ofcourse since the return on investment in these developing economies is higher.

If Dubai will sustain the boom or not ... dont know a right or wrong answer for that for for sure Dubai still has a lot to offer in terms of Infrastructure ... now moving outside its borders
