Rhys co-founded SecureTrading Ltd in 1996 and oversaw its growth to a highly specialised internet credit card processing company leading the UK market. He continued as MD for a further 18 months after the sale of the company to an investment group in early 2000. Rhys has pioneered many internet technologies, including distributed search engines, Java database adaptors, UK, European and US credit and debit processing systems, and advanced encryption and digital signature implementations. Rhys founded Accountis Plc in 2001 and led the company to become a leading EIPP company within Europe before its sale to FundTech, Inc of USA in 2008. Manoj is rumoured to have had a role in convincing FundTech as Manoj became a thought leader in EIPP as a result of his first startup, ebdex (a competitor to Accountis) and blogging. Rhys continues to lead Accountis with flag ship clients such as DHL. Rhys co-founded Sanoodi in 2006, a web 2.0 company in outdoor sports mashing with flickr and social networks. Sanoodi secured seedcorn funding in 2007.
