 <title>2006 Annual Survey of  Hours and Earnings - United Kingdom Labour Market</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;In April 2006 median gross weekly&lt;br /&gt;
earnings were £447, up 3.7 per cent&lt;br /&gt;
from £431 in 2005, for full-time&lt;br /&gt;
employee jobs on adult rates whose&lt;br /&gt;
earnings were not affected by absence.&lt;br /&gt;
For men earnings were £487, up 3.5&lt;br /&gt;
per cent, compared with £387 for&lt;br /&gt;
women, up 4.2 per cent. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Median full-time gross weekly earnings&lt;br /&gt;
(Full-time employees on adult rates, pay&lt;br /&gt;
