The Pittsfield Peaks Ultra Challenge race
itself is split into solo and relay race
options, in which
runners face a total of 14,005 ft. of vertical
change over 53 miles. Relay teams of
three runners can divide up the course
based on their preferences as long as all
three participate. “This race welcomes
runners of all abilities,” says Andy
Weinberg, the race’s director. “We’ve
designed it to be a grueling course to
challenge even the most experienced
runners.”
