I am the General Manager of Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus, one of two national science and innovation campuses. I am a chemical engineering by training as well as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. My responsibilities are the longer-term development and promotion of the Campus, and in particular developing the facilities and activities supproting the nearly 80 high-tech businesses based on the Campus.

Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus has recently launched a student mentoring programme with local A level students. The programme links an entrepreneur with an A level student to provide mentoring to the student, in particular to broaden horizons and raise awareness about potential options in careers in science and technology.
