Prof.Madurasinghe is a Consultant Psychologist and an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka with a Certificate in Comparative Industrial Relations (Japan). He has an abiding interest in and a commitment to Human Rights and Therapeutic Jurisprudence, SL Govt News Portal . Lakshman is a Member of World Jurist Association , USA, and has been a member of the Human Rights Institute- IBA-London teaching Human Rights for many years and serves as the Advisor Human Rights of the Sri Lanka United Nations Fr Org affiliated to the UN. He was elected the first Asian Watson Scholar of Haggai Institute of Advanced Leadership,USA in 1993 and has been the recipient of many honours and accolades from International Institutions and is listed in several International Directories .He is a Life Member of the Organization of Professional Associations, Bar Association of Sri Lanka and The Colombo Law Society. Prof.Madurasinghe is also a Life Member of the British Scholars Association, Sri Lanka and a Member of Cambridge University Society of Cambridge University, England, and a Life Member and former Treasurer of Cambridge Society, Sri Lanka. In 2000, IBA Cambridge, England elected him as one of the outstanding Intellectuals for his contribution to Cognitive Science. He is the CEO/MD of Intellect.

The Art of War by Sun Tzu is the oldest military classic known in Chinese literature, Sun Tzu’s Art of War is in fact a very short book. It contains less than 6200 characters of classical Chinese literary writing. The book has only 13 chapters with each chapter barely a page long. Already we have seen hints that ASCs may also bear ontological significance, in that they may suggest the presence of another order (or orders) of being. Our task in here is to explore that possibility, and to examine some of the ways in which ASCs may act as indicators, which point toward other dimensions of being.

The modern approach to understanding the nature of consciousness has been largely the domain of psychology. As objective matter is the principal topic of physics, subjective consciousness is the principle topic of psychology – or at least it should be. Early in the history of experimental psychology, scientists recognized that subjective reports of conscious experiences were highly variable. It was difficult, if not impossible, to use the objective methodology of science to study what was apparently highly subjective.
