his year’s Energy Law Institute is designed to
provide attorneys and landmen with information
and practical tools they can immediately begin
to use. Topics will be presented in four modules.
Module 1, Hard News for Hard Times, will explore
some of the issues facing the industry in these tough
economic times. Modules 2 & 3 address various
exploration and production topics. New this year is
the Emerging Issues Module with exciting topics
on legislative developments, wind, new SEC rules,
and carbon issues. Attendees will receive up to 13.5
hours of MCLE of which 2.25 hours is legal ethics.

attendees and speakers immediately following the
final presentation on Day 1 (September 2, 2009).
