beCogent ‘Oscars’ presented by Fred MacAuley
Its not only Kate Winslet and Sean Penn who are celebrating after the 81st
annual Academy Awards, the staff at Scottish-based contact centre beCogent
have also walked the red carpet, picked up their trophies and proudly displayed
them on the mantelpiece.
All employees at beCogents four sites in Airdrie, Glasgow, Erskine and
Kilmarnock were invited to attend the glittering evening held in Tiger Tiger,
Glasgow. The event was attended by around 1000 staff and was hosted by
comedian Fred MacAulay.
Over forty top performing employees were shortlisted for one of the fourteen
award categories, which included advisor of the year, manager of the year,
support person and support team of the year, the WOW award and the
Chairman’s award for special recognition.
Lorna McDowall, winner of the Chairman’s Award at the beCogent Oscars,
said, “I was overwhelmed when I was presented with the Chairman's Award at
this year's Oscars ceremony!
