EXPLORE EXPEDITION STYLE
SPECIAL ACCESS &
THE WILDER SIDE OF
A GRAND FINALE AT
LONDON’S TOWER BRIDGE
As astonishing as the photos in National Geographic.
And an exhilarating life adventure:
A Lindblad-National Geographic expedition—
a complete experience in a thrilling geography.
Lindblad Expeditions and National
Geographic have joined forces to further
inspire the world through expedition
travel. Our collaboration in exploration,
research, technology and conservation
will provide extraordinary travel experi-
ences and disseminate geographic
knowledge around the globe.
Most expeditions aboard National Geographic Explorer are to
remote, wild places. Many cover great swaths of geography,
sometimes logging thousands of miles in a voyage.
But this expedition is different. It begins in Hamburg and
ends with a journey up the Thames to Tower Bridge in central
London. It is a very different kind of immersion, a more gentle
one, where lesser distances are covered and hidden facets of
familiar places are explored. On five of the seven nights we will
remain in port well into the night, so that, if desired, you can
enjoy the lingering evening light, and the joys of life as spring
blooms in Northern Europe.
During the days, the expedition team will provide a variety of
options for you, from bicycling along meandering canals, to
special experiences in remarkable museums. We’ll visit the
medieval town of Harlingen, a highlight of last year’s expedition,
where the mayor and Dutch media warmly welcomed us as the
first ever passenger vessel to ever call here. And in prime tulip
season, we can look forward to the rare sight of vast fields in
bloom in the Frisian Islands. I think you’ll find the expedition
enriching and inspiring, and at a pace that’s just right. I hope
you’ll join us.
All the best,
