NEW GAS MARKETING PROCESS SOFTWARE
DMS proud to announce Adams Resources Marketing, Ltd.
as their newest client
Adams Resource Marketing (Adams) has chosen Data Management Solutions’ (DMS) GasPro product to
replace their current custom built gas management software. The strong customer focus of both companies
provides the common ground on which to build their long term relationship. Adams chose DMS as their software
partner, because of the confidence they have in the tremendous customer satisfaction reports, as well as in
GasPro’s proven software ability to facilitate the gas management process. As veteran users of gas
management software, Adams knew what they wanted in a system and has found it in GasPro. Some feature
highlights which convinced Adams to choose GasPro are the seamless nature of the GasPro software that allows
the front office to capture and schedule deals, automatically capture the accounting information capture--reflecting
changes in volumes and pricing real time, all while providing the middle office Sarbanes Oxley controls that they
were seeking. Internet accessibility, the maturity of GasPro and its strong reporting capabilities were also factors
in their decision.
After a brief three month implementation project done in partnership with DMS, Adams plans to go live with their
new software in September.
Adams Resources Marketing Ltd., subsidiary of Adams Resources & Energy, Inc., is a Houston based
wholesale purchaser, distributor and marketer of natural gas. Their operation focuses on the purchase of natural
gas at the producer level, and they distribute approximately 400 million cubic feet of natural gas per day to
customers located in market regions from the Gulf Coast through the Northeast. Supply is concentrated among
approximately 60 independent producers with the primary production area being the Gulf Coast of Texas and
