The Challenge (Objective)
How did you manage workflow before ProWorkflow?
Before PWF we used a server-based system that, on paper, seamed to be a suitable solution to
workflow management. Like PWF it was designed specifically for our industry.
But in practice the application was cumbersome to use on a day-to-day basis, and collating data for
invoicing was difficult and time consuming.
What was it that you wanted from a Workflow or Project Management Solution?
With the existing software proving to be unsatisfactory, I was constantly on the hunt for alternatives.
What we needed was a system that could run on our Mac OSX platform. It needed to keep all data
from every employee in one location. It needed to be simple and logical to use on day-to-day basis
as well as at invoicing time.
I was looking for an application that would allow me to easily monitor workflow daily. Above all I
needed a solution to the fragmented collection of data that existed in our previous system.
Did you look at any other software solutions?
Being constantly on the lookout for a replacement, I was aware that there was really nothing out there
that could satisfy my requirements – until I found PWF.
What was it that made you choose PWF?
PWF appeared to solve the issues I had with our previous system – and provided many more benefits:
1. A major attraction was that the system was available online - a feature that was also available
with our previous software but at a high cost.
2. It provided controlled interaction between my staff, my clients and myself.
3. It clearly allows for expansion in the business.
