Welcome, Harvest Moon 4-H Club!
Stanly County 4-H is proud to introduce
"Harvest Moon" 4-H Club.
On February 4, Harvest Moon's first official 4-H meeting was held
in the home of May Lee, with 4-H agent Patti Talley in
attendance. Harvest Moon club officers were inducted in an official
candle lighting ceremony before their meeting began.
Members were full of excitement as they shared their plans to
participate in various 4-H activities scheduled in the county as well
as personal goals they hope to achieve independently.
Their interests include sewing, dancing, gardening, cooking,
soccer, and raising chickens. At the conclusion of the meeting, May
Lee treated the group with delicious homemade egg rolls!
