at a time. The motor runs for up to 90 hours on just two D-sized batteries, and the spit can handle
up to 18 pounds of mouth-watering meats, vegetables, etc. Use your Auspit over a campfire, over
your backyard fire pit or with the Auspit FireTrough, an accessory that holds charcoal and can fit
right in the bag with your Auspit kit. Auspit stakes right into the ground and packs up into its
carrying case, which comes free with the kit. The Basic kit comes with one long and one short
Squeezeloc Spike, which can be used to hold meats in place or to skewer vegetables, fillets or
other smaller items. Batteries are included.
"It's everything it says it is!" 2010-06-13

I bought my Auspit almost one year ago at an RV show. I camp often and love to cook outdoors.
The Auspit has got to be the simplest invention ever. It's so easy to use. It's everything they say it
is. Every time I use it, people always walk up to me and ask questions about it. To date, I have
cooked pork butt, deer roast, chicken and even whole cabbage on my Auspit and have yet to
need to change the 2 D batteries that were included! I completely recommend this product to
those who love to cook outdoors.
