ELON UNIVERSITY
Giving
A Guide to
We welcome your interest in Elon University. This guide
presents a variety of ways in which you may make a significant
gift to Elon and the means by which the University would gladly
and publicly recognize your generosity.
Thanks to support from its many benefactors, Elon University
has emerged as a premier liberal arts university and the
national leader in active, engaged teaching and learning. Those
achievements have been built on a foundation of powerful,
historic values, grounded in our mission to be an academic
community that transforms mind, body and spirit.
To ensure a strong and viable future, Elon now must widen
and deepen the income stream from its endowment and other
non-tuition sources, including our vitally important annual
giving programs. We seek to enhance our nationally recognized
programs, build and maintain outstanding facilities, attract
talented professors and broaden access to Elon through greater
scholarship aid.
We are called on now as a community to strengthen further
this exceptional University and, in doing so, to transform our
students for the future they will inherit and define.
We invite you to be partners in this transformation.
