BS ENGINEERING/MBA JOINT-
In the BS/MBA program, all requirements for the undergraduate B.S. degree in engineering are satisfied independently from the 36
graduate credit hours required for the MBA. Students in the BS/MBA program have the option to exclude all 400G and 500-level
engineering course requirements from graduate credit, so that these courses will not be included in calculation of the graduate GPA.
Students who elect this option should note that engineering courses that are not taken for graduate credit cannot be transferred to a
U.K. graduate degree program at a later date.
Upon admission to the Graduate School, students are subject to all graduate school regulations as described in the Graduate Bulletin.
This is in addition to all other University of Kentucky academic regulations, many of which are contained in the “Student Rights and
Responsibilities” handbook. A Graduate School application form must be attached to this petition or submitted separately.
