Feature
Eliminite 120 C
Benefit
General layout One primary tank and
one Eliminite model 120
C advanced treatment
unit is a standard con-
figuration.
Fewer tanks means simpler installation and maintenance,
smaller footprint, reduced heat loss and lower up-front
investment. 120 C piping is internal and protected by the
concrete tank, reducing time spent in the field and poten-
tial for problems due to pipe breakage.
Exposed lids Two 24”diameter access
lids to the primary tank,
and one 24”diameter lid

During routine inspection and maintenance in cold
weather, heat loss from the treatment system is greatly
reduced. Normal operation heat loss is kept low by using
small accesses, thereby preserving favorable conditions
for microorganism survival, even during cold months.
Compare the 120 C visual impact to other systems of
similar capacity.
Tanks
Primary tank and 120 C
are locally-available, ap-
proved precast concrete
tanks.
Precast concrete tanks are usually more affordable than
plastic or fiberglass tanks that are shipped from other
states. Because these concrete tanks are purchased
from local suppliers who can travel a short distance to
deliver and set the tanks, the local economy benefits to a
greater degree, and less fossil fuels are consumed during
the shipping process. Moreover, precast concrete tanks
are less sensitive to installation technique, so likelihood of
proper installation and system longevity is increased.
Media
The 120 C contains
over 80 ft^3 of
MetaRocks media
Treatment media is the heartbeat of any fixed-film system
and it is the distinguishing factor between most advanced
treatment filters. MetaRocks media was invented in
Bozeman, Montana and currently it is manufactured in
Three Forks, Montana. MetaRocks provide superior resis-
tance to biological fouling because the pore spaces are
too large for biofilms to bridge. These large, open pore
spaces also allow for free movement of air throughout the
media bed through
