Judge Lawrence A. Belskis was elected judge of the
Franklin County Probate Court in 1990, and was re-elected
in both 1996 and 2002. Prior to serving on the bench,
Judge Belskis was a partner in private practice with Teaford,
Rich, Belskis, Coffman & Wheeler for 15 years.
Jack G. Gibbs, Jr. practices in the areas of probate law
and estate planning. He has presented seminars on
wrongful death, sales of land within the probate process
including land sales, the probate claim process,
insolvency proceedings, rights of surviving spouses, and
general estate administration.
Wade E. Harrison served as law clerk to Judge Richard B.
Metcalf and Judge Lawrence A. Belskis at the Franklin
County Probate Court while attending Capital University Law
School. Since he was admitted to the bar, Mr. Harrison has
practiced in the areas of probate, wills, trusts, guardianships,
powers of attorney, and long term planning for seniors,
including planning and applying for Medicaid eligibility.
Michael D. Juhola has been accepting guardianship
referrals since 1991. His practice areas include
guardianships, probate and estate planning, and family
law. From 1980 to 1988 he was an Assistant Director of
the Ohio Legal Center Institute, a predecessor entity to the
current CLE Division of the Ohio State Bar Association.
John Mashburn practices in the areas of probate law
with emphasis on guardianships and estate administration,
estate planning, elder law, real estate, and corporations.
He has served on the Adult Protective Services panel of
attorneys since 1988, and is currently the guardian of over
Adam R. Rinehart is a principle in the firm of Talbott and
Rinehart, focusing on probate administration, probate
litigation, estate planning and guardianship issues. He has
previously served as the chairman of the Probate Committee
for the Columbus Bar Association,
