Float Promotes Conservation Activities

The Opelika City Christmas parade is an
event that attracts a variety of participants and
spectators. The annual Christmas parade
provides one more opportunity for the Soil and
Water Conservation District (SWCD) to promote
conservation activities.
The Lee County SWCD entered the float
competition in this year’s parade. The float was
