Conformiq Appoints Peter S. Magnusson as Vice
President of Marketing
Veteran Software Development Entrepreneur Tasked with Expanding Conformiq’s Global Marketing and Customer
Acquisition Programs

SARATOGA, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Conformiq, Inc., a worldwide provider of software test
design solutions, today announced the company has hired Peter S. Magnusson as vice president of marketing.

experience in guiding some of the world’s leading systems companies to innovate their R&D processes using high
tech software tools is going to provide great value to the whole community for Automated Test Design.”
Magnusson is a computer scientist, software executive and entrepreneur. As a senior researcher at the Swedish
Institute of Computer Science (SICS), Magnusson developed the complete systems simulation environment for
software developers known as Simics™, which has become the standard simulator for developing high-end systems.
Based upon that innovation, Magnusson founded Virtutech to commercialize the technology as a development
environment, enabling faster time to market. Magnusson built Virtutech as CEO for eight years and then served on
the Board of Directors until the company’s acquisition by Intel earlier this year. A significant number of the world's
electronic systems today are modeled with Simics. Magnusson has also been an investment advisor, public speaker,
and technology columnist.
