Fares – MetroCard® is accepted on all MTA New York City Transit trains
(subways and Staten Island Railway) and on local buses (includes
Limited-Stop buses). Express buses only accept 7-Day Express Bus Plus
MetroCard or Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard. All of our buses accept exact fare
in coins, but not pennies or half dollars.
