Loose Woman Sherrie Hewson has had a facelift despite almost dying in her last operation, but this time she stayed wide awake throughout. Wide Awake Facelift treatment is a combination of Luxeface A-swiss absorbable threads, Angel PRP and Dermaroller. The threads tighten and lift the skin, Angel PRP stimulates collagen and rejuvenates the skin, giving a natural soft face lift, loose ten years in 60 minutes. While it may sound terrifying – Sherrie admitted she kept her eyes shut throughout the
procedure – using local anaesthetic is becoming one of the safest techniques for some cosmetic
surgery operations including neck lifts, eye surgery and body liposuction procedures.
Sherrie was too scared to have another operation so looked at non-surgical options. She opted
for a Luxeface A-Swiss Lift, which gives the results of a facelift without undergoing a general
anaesthetic. She unveiled the results of her “wide awake” treatment when she entered the
Celebrity Big Brother house last week.
Sherrie’s treatment began with a procedure to insert threads across her face, beneath the
surface, to create a mesh that supports the skin.
Anti-ageing expert Lesley Reynolds explained: “A surgical needle is inserted into areas of the
face, using threads to form a trellis network.
“The skin is tightened and smoothed and the threads leave no
scars. They’re simple to insert and cause minimal downtime
with simple recovery.”
Lesley, of Harley Street Skin Clinic, who advised the actress,
said a benefit of the LuxeFace ASwiss lift was its immediate
results. The procedure was followed by Angel PRP, where
blood was drawn from Sherrie’s arm to extract platelets that
could be injected into the actress’s face.
Lesley said: “Platelets release growth factors that help the
body repair itself by stimulating cells to generate new tissue.
As well as improving skin tone, it promotes healthy skin growth
and collagen production so skin looks plumper.”
The final stage of the treatment was micro-needling with a derma roller.
Skin expert Lesley added: “The roller is used where there’s more skin damage and deeper lines.
It creates a controlled injury, which the body responds to with an even greater healing
She said Sherrie’s combination of treatments, costing £3,000, will usually take between five and
ten years off a person’s face. The results will last for up to three years.
