Get The Scoop On Apocalypse Island.
Monday, January 4, 2010
On Sunday the History channel viewed an
episode called "Apocalypse Island" about a
remote island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
The documentary asks whether or not this island
could hold the secret to the recently talked about
Mayan's apocalyptic predictions concerning 2012.
Jim Turner seems to think that this 'remote artifact'
holds the answers and has so far invested over a
decade preparing for an expedition to the island that
he feels will prove that this is the place the Aztecs
or Mayans foretold that the gods would come to,
and from there to "watch the final minutes of
civilization as we know it."
I don't know why we are once again putting
ourselves through another doomsday speculation like this... Nostradamus 'predictions'
have been mooted every few years for the end of the world... last one was 1994 if I
remember right, and we all stocked up on canned foods and water - lol!
Let's face it, anytime this planet wants to sneeze, we are all a long gone memory - so why
do we want the extra stress of putting a date on our demise?
As a 'survivor' of all the other predictions of the end of the world that have been
publicized in the past 50 years, I say: relax, enjoy your life, but appreciate it as if it
could all end tomorrow.
What do you think? If you saw the show and have an opinion about it, let us know in the
comments submission box below.
I'd love to know what others think about the doomsday predictions of Nostradamus and
this History Channel show: "Apocalypse Island"
There are many interesting dvds you can get that cover all the various doomsday
and apocalypse theories for the end of the world, and if you like to be open minded
you will enjoy these.
