"Xi" - Irritant
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: Yellow color liquid.
IMMEDIATE CONCERNS: May be slightly toxic if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. May cause
severe eye irritation. May be irritating to the respiratory tract, skin, and gastrointestinal tract. May
cause skin sensitization.
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
EYES: May cause significant irritation to the eyes.
SKIN: Allergic reaction and significant irritation to the skin is possible.
SKIN ABSORPTION: May be slightly toxic if absorbed through the skin.
INGESTION: May be slightly toxic if ingested. May cause gastrointestinal discomfort with any or all of
the following symptoms: nausea, vomiting, lethargy, or diarrhea. Excessive exposure may cause liver,
kidney, and/or thyroid damage.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF OVEREXPOSURE
CHRONIC EFFECTS: This product contains no listed carcinogens according to IARC, ACGIH, NTP,
and/or OSHA in concentrations of 0.1 percent or greater (unless identified under section 15 of this
MSDS). Repeated or prolonged contact causes sensitization, asthma, and eczema. Prolonged contact
may result in chemical burns and permanent damage.
