Who can apply?
If you are 18 years or older, or a high school
graduate, you can enroll at Southwestern
College.
What does it cost?
Full-time students, who are California resi-
dents, pay about $200 per semester for tuition
and fees.

While on campus we recommend that you
stop by the Counseling Center to schedule an
appointment for counseling and placement
tests.
Is financial aid available?
Yes. A number of programs are available to
help you pay for enrollment, books, transpor-
tation and other costs. Funds are provided by
the federal and state governments in the form of
loans, grants and on-campus jobs. Call the
Financial Aid office at 619-482-6357.
Can you help me find a job?
Yes. We can help you with career counseling,
job placement, tutoring, on-campus employ-
ment, support services for disabled students,
veterans assistance, and health services.
Southwestern College is part of the California Community
College system, a network of 108 publicly funded two-year
colleges. We are fully accredited by the Western
Association of Schools and Colleges and approved by The
California State Department of Education.
