BUCK AD A DREAM ARTIST, LUCY DIAMODS,
IKS DEAL WITH KOCH RECORDS
Atlanta, GA -- May 21, 2007-- Featured on artist development site Buck And A
Dream (www.buckandadream.com), singer Lucy Diamonds just inked a record deal with Koch
Records which she attributes to the promotion she received from the company.
“I got great contacts out of Buck and A Dream,” said Diamonds. “I definitely got a lot of expo-
sure from being featured on the site.”
Buck and A Dream offers up and coming artists the opportunity for promotional exposure by
being featured on the site. Lucy Diamonds was spotlighted in March and after working towards
her goal, landed the deal with Koch.
“After we had Lucy added to the site, the number of hits almost doubled,” said Greg Bowman,
creator of Buck and a Dream. “I got a call from King of Chill (producer who worked with MC
Lyte) saying that he kept going back to the page just to hear her record.”
The combination of Buck and a Dream’s high level industry contacts and Diamonds’ musical
talent led King of Chill to hear her record and make the comment that she is “like a breath of
fresh air”.
“Buck and a Dream is a group of people with a lot of insight and a lot of experience,” Lucy
said. “They're not just a lot of empty promises.”
Lucy Diamonds is a prime example of what can happen when an artist comes through Buck and
a Dream.
