CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The ECU power source supplies power to the actuator and sensors, etc., when terminal GND and the cruise
control ECU case are grounded.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Check ECU–IG fuse.
PREPARATION:
Remove the ECU–IG fuse from the J/B No. 1.
CHECK:
Check the continuity of the ECU–IG fuse.
OK:
Continuity
NG
Replace ECU–IG fuse.
OK

Check voltage between terminals B and GND of cruise control ECU connector.
PREPARATION:
(a)
Remove the ECU with the connector being connected.
(b)
Turn the ignition switch ON.
CHECK:
Measure the voltage between terminals B and GND of the ECU
connector.
OK:
10 – 16 V
OK
Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in
problem symptoms table (See page DI–730).

Measure the resistance between terminal GND of the ECU con-
nector and the body ground.

Resistance: Below 1 Ω
