Bob Caslen, John Uhorchak, and Pres
Mitcham were fortunate to participate in
the marchback from Lake Fredrick with the
Class of ’09. Pres and Bob have sons in the
plebe class and John has a daughter.
Dan Heine sends word that he and
Mary Ann Baggenstos are getting married
on 8 September. Mary Ann is Executive
Administrator of the Mill Creek Commu-
nity Association. Dan is a Senior Software
Engineer with Honeywell.
Keith & Tracy Self continue to live just
north of Dallas, where they celebrated their
30th anniversary on 7 June. Keith has de-
cided to cam-
paign for the
position
of
head county
commission-
er, in Texas
known as the
county judge.
The primary
is in March,
so
Keith’s
time
until
then will be
busy
speak-
ing, garner-
ing votes, and
raising money. Keith & Tracy look for-
ward seeing classmates and our Highland

Mike (E-2) & Mary Ellen Hart report that
their oldest son, Bryan ‘02 will be back in Iraq
on tour #2 with the 101st Airborne by the time
this hits the press, and will be a captain along
with the rest of his classmates by that time. Son
Eric is a senior at TCU, hoping to graduate and
get commissioned in

license, so Mike says

& Mike are stay-
ing busy with work,
hunting, and trying
to travel when the
opportunities pres-
ent themselves.
Danny Stroud sends word that he went
to Sturgis, SD, this year again. He rode
3,100 miles through Colorado, Kansas,
Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota,
and Wyoming. He sent the photos show-
ing an “interesting” tattoo.
Two announcements from the Pardue
household: Son John married Jennifer Sol-
dan on 4 June, the day before our 30th an-
niversary; and daughter Janice was recently
named a Distinguished Scholar at Boston
College.

the news unfold regarding the devasta-
tion of Hurricane Katrina. As many of you
