Action for Activists
by John F. McManus, President, The John Birch Society
The John Birch Society exists to protect God-given
rights and freedoms and to insure continuation of inde-
pendence for our nation. During 50 years, the Society has
built an organization where patriotic Americans can enlist
fellow Americans in our education and action program.
Not just education, of course. Everyone knows that action
must accompany the education or frustration and failure
will be the result.
We have listed the types of action members have car-
ried out over the past five decades. It is these deeds that
have led to many victories and partial successes. It is
effort of these kinds by members all across the nation that
has achieved significant victories and will lead to ultimate
victory. Action is what attracts increasingly concerned
fellow Americans into our ranks.
