Alex Lloyd to Join Sidley Austin’s Hong Kong
Office as a Partner in the U.S. Corporate Finance

HONG KONG--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Sidley Austin is pleased to announce that Alex Lloyd will join
the Hong Kong office as a partner in its U.S. Corporate Finance practice, effective May 1, 2010.
Mr. Lloyd’s practice focuses on debt and equity capital markets, including high yield debt offerings and IPOs. He
has represented issuers and underwriters in a number of notable high yield offerings in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia,
Korea and China. On the equity side, he has primarily focused on Hong Kong IPOs with a Rule 144A tranche, as
well as other global equity issues listed in Singapore. Mr. Lloyd’s practice covers a wide area of other capital
markets activities including investment grade debt offerings, restructurings, SEC regulatory compliance and liability
“Alex is an experienced capital markets lawyer who brings a wealth of experience in the high yield and capital
markets arenas,” said William O. Fifield, Sidley’s managing partner in the Greater China Region. “He will be a key
player in our already deep bench of over 50 corporate lawyers in Asia/Pacific.”
