solutions today announced that its Services Gateway Maximo Enterprise Adapter (MEA) for IBM’s Maximo Asset
Management software package has achieved ‘Ready for IBM Tivoli’ Certification and is now approved for inclusion
in the Open Process Automation Library (OPAL).
Working in conjunction with the Enfora Services Gateway Platform, IBM Maximo users can define the business
rules and logic for how and when an asset should report, as well as logically associate rotating wireless devices.
Additionally, IBM Maximo users are able to track mobile assets with easy access to location information, status and
monitoring alerts for movement, Geofencing, reporting and battery levels.
Certification provides customers with the assurance that the Services Gateway MEA has been validated to meet
and/or exceed IBM’s compatibility criteria and has successfully been integrated with the IBM Maximo Asset
Management product.
