Fridley, MN (PRWEB) November 14, 2009 -- EMSCO, a seller of used and refurbished electrical equipment for
industrial and commercial facilities announced that it completed a project to remove electrical equipment
(transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, substations and more) from the City Center Mall in Columbus, Ohio.
The mall, which was originally built in 1989, is being demolished. Plans are to rebuild part of the property and to
have a park on some of the land. They are also planning for restaurants, shops and offices, with the projected
overall completion date of 2019.
The demolished building consisted of 3 floors and 1.2 million square feet. It officially closed on March 5, 2009.
The removal of the electrical equipment started in September, 2009 and the EMSCO crew has completed the
removal which resulted in 6 semi truck loads of electrical equipment. This equipment will be repainted,
refurbished and resold.
All of the electrical equipment that EMSCO sells is guaranteed to work but because the equipment is "used" it
can be sold at reduced rates. EMSCO has been ahead of the times with refurbishing used electrical equipment for
over 50 years, as recycling building equipment is good for the environment. Bus duct and bus plugs, motor
control panels, circuit breakers, transformers, switch gears, variable frequency drives and starters are among the
types of electrical equipment that EMSCO buy and sells.
Anyone doing facility upgrades, repair or new construction should consider buying from EMSCO as one can get
quality equipment at reduced prices. Additionally, EMSCO may have that hard to find obsolete equipment:
