Chief Executive Officer – Envision
Salary: £50,000 pa
Reports to: The Chair of the Board of Trustees
Responsible for: All employees and volunteers.
Key Relationships:
Internal: Chair, Trustee Board, SMT, staff, volunteers, and young people
External: Funding bodies (statutory bodies and grant-making organisations) and other supporters
(companies, community groups and individuals), other charities, auditors; contractors, strategic
partners and other external agencies.
Location: central London
Contract: permanent with six month probationary period

difference.
A Guardian Charity Award winner in 2008 and a New Philanthropy Capital recommended charity,
Envision seeks to create the next generation of world changers. We support 16-19 year olds to set up
their own social and environmental community projects and in the process build their confidence,
skills, knowledge and motivation to be active. Founded in 2000 working with just 50 young people,
Envision currently works with thousands of young people from offices in London, Birmingham and
Leeds.
Envision is looking for a new CEO at the most exciting time in its history. We are about to embark on a
period of substantial growth, in addition to an ongoing diversification of our activities to meet our
mission in partnership with new audiences.
