Sample: Subject: Application for one-month summer internship
Dear Sir/ Ma’am
I, Victor Woods, a media student from Christ College, am aspiring to do a one-month internship in your
organization, through which I can gain hands-on experience in the medium Radio and thus understand
its working as an effective medium of communication.
As a part of the curriculum of Communicative English, I have learnt how to write different scripts of
radio shows, features, plays and announcements and now I am looking forward to get more exposure
and familiarity with the medium and thus learn in this process.
Being an effective team-worker, leader, communicator and a creative person I aim to use the best of my
skills during the course of the internship, thus making my internship a fruitful and an effective one.
I am looking forward to a positive response for my request.
Thank you.
Yours Sincerely
Victor Woods
