Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce
Beginning this July 1st, Aetna Small Group will require all cases to be submitted and
received by our underwriting department on or before the group’s desired effective date.
For instance, all enrollment forms for a group with a July 1st effective date must be
received by Aetna no later than close of business, July 1st. Late submissions will be
enrolled for the subsequent effective date (i.e., a case submitted for a July 1st effective
date that is late will be enrolled with an August 1st effective date).

Do you know that we’re now the exclusive provider of health benefits for members of the
Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (2-50 eligible employees)?
The Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce selected Aetna to be the exclusive provider of
medical, dental, life/AD&D and disability benefits for employers with 2-50 eligible employees.
The first phase rollout will be to participating Chamber of Commerce members located in
Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Cochise and Santa Cruz counties. Initial availability will be provided for
members of the following participating chambers of commerce:
• Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce
• Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce
Every chamber in the state of Arizona will have the opportunity to participate in the Chamber
Members Benefits Plan.

• All brokers are eligible to sell the chamber plan
• Agents must be licensed and appointed with Aetna
• Agents must have signed agent agreement on file
