CHRONICLES OF BLOOD GAME RELEASE
After 9 months of production the first chapter of Chronicles of Blood was finally released
last June 1, 2010 by Diviad GmbH from Munich, Germany known for their first game, Ghost
Trappers.
Chronicles of Blood or CoB as they call it, is a horror role-playing game in modern times
wherein you take the role of a newly converted vampire whose goals is to rise in the vampire
society through hunting and fighting monsters of all kinds that you are familiar of from classic
role-playing games and horror movies as well as from modern ones such as in “Blade”
and “Underworld” for a few, not limiting to pure horror archetypes. Unlike most Facebook game
app, you don’t need to have hundreds of friends/members to be competitive and one does
not need to spend all day playing on it. You do get far if you visit it regularly but once a day is
enough.
“Bloodlust” is used to pay for hunting creatures and fight other players. The goal is to rise in
level and collect strong equipments and other helpful powers and stuff on the way. There are
a lot of combinations to use and things to collect. These items and powers define the player’s
strength. If a player fights against creatures (PvE) they may want to change their weapons
from time to time and use different strategies to obtain better results. There are special entities,
like “merchants” which crafts items and “trainers” that sends one on daily quests. One can get
exclusive loots by fighting other players (PvP). But some are not into PvP, so what the staff did
is to give an option in disabling PvP altogether. You can switch off PvP if you don’t want to be
attacked by strangers! The game starts with 4 locations and over 50 unique creatures to fight
and around 100 items to collect. The level cap is until 40, which will take a while for an average
player
