Spine Center offers a new Non-Surgical Treatment for back pain, disc herniations and disc
bulges, facet syndrome and sciatica. Researchers from Stanford University, COPE Foundation,
Florida Pain Management and Johns Hopkins University reported a 90% improvement in back
pain in their 2006 Chart review.
Colchester, VT (PRWEB) June 21, 2009 -- Those suffering from chronic back pain, disc herniations and disc
bulges, sciatica, facet syndrome or spinal disc degeneration may be helped by a new non-surgical spine treatment
using the DRX 9000 spinal decompression system. A 2006 chart review of 100 patients with chronic pain from
herniated and degenerated discs, sciatica, and disc bulges found a 90% average improvement in pain levels after 8
weeks of treatment. Researchers also reported a significant improvement in the ability to perform activities of
daily living in the patients reviewed. The use of prescription and over-the counter pain medication also decreased
dramatically following the spinal decompression treatment.
A recent case report by Drs. Terry R Yochum, DC, DACBR and Chad Maola, DC demonstrated on MRI study, a
large focal left paracentral disc herniation displacing the left S1 nerve root. A follow-up MRI scan was obtained
7.5 months after the patient's first of 17 spinal decompression treatments with the DRX 9000. The new MRI
revealed complete resolution of the previous extruded disc herniations at L5/S1. The patient had complete
resolution of his back and left leg pain.
A Burlington, VT area Spine Center (drseanp.com) offers this new non-surgical treatment. "DRX 9000 spinal
decompression has demonstrated very good results for some of the most difficult and chronic cases: herniated
and bulging discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica, and facet syndrome" says Dr. Sean P. Mahoney, Director of the
Advanced Spine Disc Joint Center in Colchester,
