Guidelines
In order to maintain the historical integrity of Liberty Memorial, the following
guidelines must be met. Please remember that the Liberty Memorial is, first and
foremost a historic museum. The Liberty Memorial exists for the benefit of the
public, which may place constraints on the facility and its availability. The
following guidelines are for your benefit to help you properly prepare for your
event. We appreciate your understanding of the extra care involved to insure our
property is available for public enjoyment and will gladly furnish you with
additional copies of our guidelines for your caterer, florist or event planner. You
are responsible for conveying our policies to any vendors and their failure to
respect our guidelines could result in forfeiture of your deposit.

The National World War One museum at Liberty Memorial and the venues are available for rental for
private functions with some time restrictions. Access to staff offices for any reason during an event is
prohibited. By hosting or participating in an event at Liberty Memorial, you and your guest have given
permission for the use of any photographs or videos in Liberty Memorial publications.
Set-up and Breakdown
• Please notify Morgan Trosper 816.784.1910, prior to the event of supply delivery and pick up
times and the company you are using. All deliveries must be prearranged.
• As a general rule, we prefer that you load in the day of your event. If your event is in the morning
we will work with you on loading in the night before. There are times that we have back-to-
back events, meaning that on those rare occasions you or the party rental vendor may have to
