AIRPORT SUMMARY REPORT
Bentonville Municipal-Louise M. Thaden Field (VBT)
is a city owned general aviation airport in northwest
Arkansas. Located 2 miles south of the city center, the
airport occupies 130 acres. There is one runway located
at the airport, Runway 18-36, measuring 4,082 feet in
length. There is no parallel taxiway associated with
the runway, nor are there any turnarounds available.
Presently, non-precision instrument approaches are
published for both runway ends.
There is a f ixed base operator located at the airport
which provides both 100LL and Jet A aircraft fuel.
The airport has both corporate hangars and t-hangars
available for aircraft storage, as well as covered tie-down
parking. Several large companies based in the vicinity of
the airport contribute to high levels of itinerant business
When planning for new or additional airport facilities,
projections in the form of based aircraft, as well as annual
operations can be helpful in determining the type and size
of necessary improvements. Based aircraft numbers will

hangars and tie-down spaces. Operations will provide
