ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS'
The audio-visual microprocessor nurse-call system(s)
shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone NC300 series,
or approved equal. At each of the central equipment
locations, contractor shall furnish and install the model
NC350C64 (64 unit/2 master capacity) or NC350C64P (64
unit/2 master capacity plus serial/printer port) or
NC350C128P (128 unit/4 master capacity plus serial/printer
port) or NC350CPX2 (256 unit/4 master capacity plus
serial/printer port) central processing equipment (CPE).
At each of the main nurse's location, contractor shall
furnish and install one (1) model NC303 master station,
along with its associated NC313 monitor and NC314A
converter. Contractor shall furnish and install all other
required system components, as needed for each particu-

Processing Equipment (CPE)
The Alpha Communications® NC300 series microprocessor-based
audio-visual nurse-call system provides all of the most desirable
ergonomic features and functions required by today's health care
administrative professionals. The NC300 addresses the needs of
both patient and nurse by combining ease of operation, accurate
two-way voice communication, and an English language format
prominently displayed on a high-resolution, compact CRT.
The NC300 system also includes masters that incorporate SPILL-
PROOF membrane switches
