The Contract Coordinator’s primary role is to manage the smooth flow of NHS
patients by managing the Directory of Services (DoS), NHS clinic templates and
coordinating NHS clinic slot availability in accordance with fluctuations in demand.
The Contract Coordinator’s key responsibility is to monitor compliance with NHS
contract obligations and timeline standards and to this end will produce and rigorously
scrutinise weekly performance monitoring reports, detailing each independent sector
(IS) provider site’s contract activity and waiting times. The Coordinator will provide a
critical link between the Contract Manager and all IS provider sites and will oversee
all daily operational activities, escalating contract variance issues to the Contract
Manager for corrective action.
The Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Contract Manager to develop and
improve systems of contract performance monitoring that enables activity and clinical
quality indicators to be monitored.
The Coordinator will have contact with key NHS stakeholders and will assist in
ensuring their needs and expectations are fully met.
The Contract Coordinator reports to the Operational Contracts Manager.
The Contracts Coordinator is responsible for operating within the limits of the
policies and procedures of Capio Healthcare UK.
