Annual Wyo. business conference next week,
registration still open
09.24.2009 – CHEYENNE – Wyoming businesses of all sizes are encouraged to attend the Wyoming
Business-to-Business Idea Expo, a full-service business conference that helps both new and established
companies learn and grow.
The conference will take place Sept. 28-29 in Laramie at the University of Wyoming Conference Center at
the Hilton Garden Inn.
Registration for the event is $125 for the first participant and $100 for each additional attendee. Members
of local Chambers of Commerce receive a $25 discount. Included in the conference is the Wyoming
Technology Business Center’s e2e networking event, which is open to the public. Additionally, the event
will include vendors for both business-to-business and government services.
“The Idea Expo isn’t like a normal conference,” said Brandon Marshall, Business and Entrepreneurial
Development program manager. “It’s not somewhere you come and just get a brochure. It’s really a
conference businesses should come to expecting to gather real information that they can take straight back
to their business and implement. They should be able to get help from the on-sight business professionals –
actual help, not just how to get help later, but real help, on-sight.”
The conference will cover a wide array of business-related topics regarding finance, marketing, Web 2.0,
people management, and entrepreneurship, among others.
Keynote speakers for the conference include:
• Tim Gard, of Tim Gard International: Gard is a motivational speaker who will open the conference with
a humorous discussion on how to overcome stress using his trademarked Comic Vision®.
• Yoshi Noguchi: Is an international business expert who has managed high-tech companies in the U.S.
and Japan. Noguchi will address attendees of the e2e event at 5:30 p.m., Sept. 28.
• Al Lautenslager: Is an award winning marketing/PR consultant, direct mail promotion specialist, author,
speaker and entrepreneur. H
