SPECIAL EVENTS IN CROATIA

Dear Visitor, welcome to Croatia!
We are pleased you have decided to visit our country and learn about a part of our
rich cultural heritage.
Croatia abounds with various cultural & tourist events and festivals all year long.
Some of them are a result of the long-standing tradition and diligent dedication of
each region, some are organized to revive our ancestors’ customs and festivities, and
some follow the contemporary cultural developments. Many of them include creative
workshops where one can acquire many interesting experiences, meet other people
and have a good time.
Having been a part of Europe for a very long time, Croatia has numerous and
widespread links and forms of cooperation, and is being visited by numerous interna-
tionally renowned artists and performers.
We hope the cheerful and exciting atmosphere of each event will enrich your stay
in our country, and that our hospitality will make you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Welcome to Croatia!
Yours truly,
Croatian National Tourist Board

Forty-five Croatian museums join in the
celebration of the Night of Museums, a
night when museums do not close their
doors after the usual opening hours,
but stay open until late at night. Until 1
a.m., to be precise. This way, the mu-
seums, as a part of the cultural side of
night life, adapt to new trends, modern-
ize their activities, and popularize visits
to museums. In addition, all museums
offer entry free of charge, thus making
their exhibitions more accessible than
ever.
