emerging is an exhibition of artworks created by
students who live within the Dublin City Schools
attendance lines. The exhibition will be on display
in Dublin Arts Council’s (DAC) gallery from Aug. 31
though Sept. 24, 2010.
Submission deadline:
Friday, August 20, 2010 at 5pm
Entry guidelines:
• All students who live within Dublin City Schools
attendance boundaries may submit artworks for
consideration. All artwork must be the original
work of the artist.
• A student may submit up to three works of art
in any medium(s).
• Artworks must be submitted ready for
professional exhibition. Two-dimensional
artworks, such as paintings and drawings, must
be matted and ready to hang if they are not
framed.
• Artworks that exceed reasonable space
requirements may not be accepted for the
exhibition.
• Submitted artworks will be reviewed by a juror.
There is no guarantee that all artworks will
be accepted.
Entry fees:
An entry fee of $7 must accompany each artwork. You
may submit up to three individual artworks in any me-
dium.
Opening reception:
Tues., Aug. 31, 2010 from 6 to 8pm at Dublin Arts Council.
Free of charge. All are welcome.
