INTRODUCES BOY’S BASKETBALL COACHING STAFF
Under Direction of Coach Ro Russell, Staff Has Over 40 Years Combined Experience
Creedmoor, NC – Christian Faith Center Academy Conquerors National Boy’s Basketball Team has
introduced three new coaches to this year’s coaching staff. Under second year leadership of Coach Ro Russell,
who has developed over 400 Division 1 college players, including McDonald's All-Americans and AAU National
Champions, this year’s staff also includes multi-talented coaches with Division II, Junior College, High School, and
AAU experience.
Players developed by CFCA’s coaching staff include #1 NBA Draft Pick John Wall, NCSU’s CJ Leslie, Texas’
Tristan Thompson and Corey Joseph, Minnesota’s Devoe Joseph, Marquette’s Junior Cadougan, and this
year’s highly recruited Kevin Thomas, and Xavier Rathan-Mayes.

been hard at work and looking forward to a formidable season,” says Head Coach Ro Russell.”
Coach Ro Russell has over 20 years of coaching experience and comes from a rich Canadian basketball heritage.
Russell started the Grassroots Canada program to provide Canadian players with proper training, surround them
with the highest level of competition, and obtain exposure needed to earn college scholarships. In his 20-plus
years of coaching experience, Russell has accumulated astounding feats, winning over 1000 AAU, 200 high
school, and 300 prep school games. Russell has found success in the US coaching the first Canadian team to win
the 2008 Adidas Super 64 championship in Las Vegas NV. Russell played at Keene State in Keene, N.H., and
Gordon College in Wenham, Mass.
Joining the staff this year are Kendrick Williams, Marcellus Morgan, and Khristopher Williams as assistant
coaches.
