CARY, N.C.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--ERGO Italia is using software from SAS, the leader in business
analytics to quickly analyze accurate quantitative and qualitative information to make the right tactical and strategic
decisions at the right time. The insurance company operates in the Italian market through its subsidiaries, ERGO

ERGO implemented an executive dashboard called MIS (Management Information System) which provides a
multidimensional analysis of the company’s global portfolio that includes all key performance indicators. SAS
integrates critical corporate data in a central location, simplifying access to data and reporting while ensuring quality,
transparency and security.
"SAS allows us to perform a variety of analyses on the information in our data warehouse,” explained Alessandro
Voglino, Associate General Director of ERGO Italia. “These include premium ratemaking for both companies,
monitoring the customer portfolio from the combined perspectives of the two subsidiaries to improve cross-selling,
reducing expenses and allocating resources more efficiently.”
"SAS allows us to manage and view dynamic data,” said Massimo Cervetti, MIS and Internal Reporting Director of
