AmerTac Announces Common Ownership and
Affiliation with Jackson Deerfield Manufacturing

SADDLE RIVER, N.J.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--AmerTac announced today that as of June 2, 2010, it
has common ownership with Dallas, Texas based Jackson Deerfield Manufacturing.
Founded over 70 years ago, AmerTac is a leading distributor of decorative wallplates, night lights/specialty lights,
under-cabinet lighting, lighting controls/dimmers/timers, lawn & garden products, and consumer electronic
Jackson Deerfield Manufacturing is a domestic manufacturer and distributor of decorative wallplates. It was founded
in 1957 as a manufacturer of wood products and today still manufactures product in its Texas facility.
AmerTac’s Chief Executive Officer, Sal Mirra, will continue in his role and the core of the AmerTac executive
management team will remain unchanged. Jackson Deerfield president, Dan Rego, will be working closely with Sal
to ensure both companies maintain their commitment to growth, product development, and customer service. For the
near-term, both companies will operate independently but will explore advantages now available with domestic
manufacturing and market knowledge.
