MINNEAPOLIS--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Comtrol Corporation, a leading manufacturer of industrial
device connectivity products, is pleased to announce its certification and entry into the Disadvantaged Business
Enterprise (DBE) program. The DBE program is intended to ensure a level playing field for disadvantaged
companies in the awarding and administration of government bids. Comtrol Corporation whose products are used
within Road and Rail transportation networks as well as Power Utility and other Government and Defense
applications, looks to the DBE Certification to help it significantly increase its revenue growth and profitability for
2010 and 2011.
As a woman-owned company, this certification allows Comtrol’s products to compete for and perform government
contract work, helping federally‐funded contracts meet their DBE goals. Comtrol will be listed in the Minnesota
Directory of Certified DBE’s which is used by prime contractors and consultants seeking minority companies to
perform work on Government contracts. “By obtaining the DBE certification, Comtrol is able to expand its role in
providing industrial device connectivity products to local, state and Federal Government agencies” said Rebecca
Summers-Beale, owner of Comtrol. “We are excited by the opportunity this certification gives us to increase our
involvement with government contracts.”
Comtrol has a 26 year history in selling device connectivity products designed for a wide range of applications in any
size commercial or government organization.
